Five gas light standards line the hotel along the St. Charles Avenue sidewalk -- duplicates of the ones in the Place Vendome in Paris. The streetcar to the French Quarter and area attractions stops directly in front of The Pontchartrain, and we provide complimentary shuttle service to the convention center and downtown New Orleans.
